BI Analyst

Arcas Technology is partnered with a leading Property Management company based in Surrey who are currently looking for an experienced BI Analyst to join their business on a permanent basis.

 

Role Summary:

My client is seeking a dedicated individual to collaborate closely with various teams and stakeholders in order to fulfil business intelligence requirements for the business. You will possess strong analytical skills and be proficient in working with complex datasets. Also, you will contribute to the strategic direction of the organisation, fostering a data-driven and intelligence-oriented culture.

 

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with management, operational teams, and clients to identify areas within the organization that would benefit from BI analysis.
• Analyse and deliver outcomes that align with business requirements.
• Design datasets, reports, and dashboards for consumption across the organization.
• Collaborate with business and development teams to improve and maintain data quality within our platform products.
• Utilize provided datasets to identify trends, anomalies, and provide recommendations.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for developed BI solutions.
• Provide data cleansing and management services as requested and approved.
• Support the development of the data governance strategy.
• Safely deploy solutions into live production environments in collaboration with the Change and Release function.
• Provide training and support to management, operational teams, and clients on BI tools, techniques, and best practices.
• Demonstrate enthusiasm and promote data-led decision making throughout the organisation.

 

Skills:

• Strong proficiency in SQL, SSRS, and Power BI.
• Prior experience in a BI/data analyst or related role.
• Familiarity with tools and technologies like C#, Python, R, Dax, DevOps, Azure, Microsoft Graph, Microsoft Power Platform, ETL, Data Warehouse, AI, and ML.
• Possession of a recognized certification in data analysis would be advantageous.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, listening, and presentation skills.
