Cloud Engineer

Cloud Engineer (GCP) - IT Consultancy - London (hybrid)

Arcas Technology is partnered with an IT Consultancy who are currently looking for an experienced Cloud Engineer to join their business on a permanent basis. You will be joining a growing organisation who are going from strength to strength.

The purpose of this role is to play a key part in the success of workstreams and projects that support both internal and external clients. The ideal candidate will be a collaborative and proactive team player who is a strong communicator.

Key Skills Required

• Excellent operational, administration, troubleshooting, optimisation and security experience of Kubernetes.
• Hands-on experience migrating and deploying GCP cloud-based solutions.
• Experience architecting, implementing, and supporting GCP infrastructure and topologies.
• In-depth hands-on work experience with implementations of Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Good experience with Git/GitHub, Linux sysadmin, Bash, Python.
• Experience helping development teams build and deploy micro services-based applications in public cloud.
• Strong knowledge of Google and architecting data pipelines.
• Good Experience in build/release tools such as Nexus, Aquasec, SonarQubeand other tools.
• Good understanding of Groovy, Ruby, YAML to support Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with Continuous Integration & Continuous Deployment tools and processes.
