IT Manager

Arcas Technology is partnered with a leading Solicitors based in London who are currently looking for an experienced IT Manager to join their business on a permanent basis.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Provision of 2nd & 3rd line support to users, collaborating with third-party managed service providers as necessary.
  • Oversight of physical server operations, virtual machine management, and server replication.
  • Comprehensive IT support across all levels of the business.
  • Responsible for the day-to-day administration of hardware and software, including deployment and replacement for end-users.
  • Management of user accounts and identities.
  • Active involvement in Cybersecurity oversight.
  • Development and upkeep of monitoring tools to track infrastructure performance, covering networking, servers, and security, with regular reporting.
  • Handling audits, procurement, and management of IT assets throughout the company, including software licenses, hardware warranties, equipment distribution, and web domains and hosting.
  • Contribution to maintaining and refining IT disaster recovery plans, ensuring robust security measures aligned with industry best practices.

 

Key Skills Required

  • Proficiency in configuring and managing hybrid Active Directory environments.
  • Hands-on experience with deploying and administering Microsoft Intune.
  • Provide expert technical support and troubleshooting for Apple Mac hardware and software, ensuring optimal performance and user satisfaction.
  • Competence in on-premises server and switch configuration, including VMWare environments.
  • Skill in developing and managing SharePoint sites.
  • Experienced with Ubiquiti and SonicWALL.
  • Familiarity with the Sophos suite of security products.
  • DNS, DHCP, VLANs
  • Experience in setting up and managing VOIP phone systems.
  • Strong understanding of GDPR regulations and their implementation in IT practices.
  • Knowledge or experience with Firewalls and VPNs.
